Study of discursive practices, artistic expressions, and communicational devices in the sphere of communication technologies, with an emphasis on the multiple repertoires, narratives, and their hybridizations in artistic and media productions that produce new subjectivities and their developments. They constitute, therefore, as their key objects:
1) the aesthetic possibilities opened up by the technological characteristics of communication media, bearing in mind different traditions and concepts that constitute the field of the arts;
2) aesthetic configurations in communication media and their interactions with specific cultural formations;
3) the ways and the reach with which the technological characteristics of communication media condition cultural and subjective attitudes;
4) problematization of the discourse of technoscience in its relation to communication media and spheres. |
