The Postgraduate Program in Communication at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro is managed by its Deliberative Commission, composed of the PPGCOM Coordinator (president), the PPGCOM Adjunct-Coordinator, two faculty representatives, and one student body representative. The members of the Deliberative Commission are elected by a direct vote of all of the PPGCOM social body. Functionally, the PPGCOM also counts on its Academic Coordination, which among other functions represents the program in the higher jurisdictions of UFRJ; the Line of Research Co-ordinations, which organize faculty/student relations and provide support for the preparation of the selection process within their working areas; and the Academic Secretariat, which is responsible for all of the technical-administrative part in addition to making contact with the rest of the social body and with the population in general.   

The Program Coordination will assist students and professors, with meetings scheduled in advance at the secretariat, with an exposition of the theme to be addressed.
